I tried to convert a KFX file to pdf and was somewhat successful with the trial version and reverting PC Kindle to an old version. That being said the 'sample' text that I was given looked like garbage. Just a very basic sample of 20% of the text that was converted, which is fine as a sample, but I don't want to invest in the full version if what is going to be given to me looks so bad. Does the full converted file retain any of the books formatting or cover photos, etc.? Or will it just be a basic text conversion that looks like it was written in note pad?
kfx removal instructions do not work
I installed your latest software, it asked that I downgrade the installed kindle software to 1.32. I did that and could not download any kindle books. The kindle software crashed then when I restarted it automatically updated to version 1.39.xx When I try and use the software I get an error stating that the kindle KFX files could not be converted and that I had to reinstall a lower version of kindle.
Are you going to fix this issue? I cannot install Kindle 1.32 as it auto upgrades, even with the checkbox unticked for checking for new version.

I downloaded the trial version of the epubor kindle converter because it sounded like I could convert my current (mid-2023) books to epub, but the converter doesn't let me convert any current kindle books. Is this a problem with the converter or am I missing something? I'd really like to be able to change my kindle books to epub for security.
Also: none of the epubor products let me "drag and drop" even though it says I can on the screen.
i have a kindle book that was published in 2023 that i want to convert to pdf so that i can have it on my reMarkable device. i’ve tried everything i know how on calibre but nothing has worked. using an old kindle app version for mac doesn’t work because this book requires an updated version of the app to access/read it. i have a physical kindle but using that method to download it to my laptop doesn’t work either because the “download via USB” on amazon isn’t available for this book either. does epubor have a workaround in place that doesn’t require an old version of the kindle app or a “download via USB” method that would work for me to convert a kfx file to pdf?

I am trying to download a book and older version of Kindle for PC will not download the book insisting on upgraded, and the only one online is 1.40. When I installed Epubor it downgraded to 1.32, which will not access the book. I was able to download the book with 1.40, but the book was identified as AZW, yet when trying to check DRM I was informed it's a Kindle KFX file, even though it has an AZW extension?!
When Amazon killed the download via USB option, we can only use epubor ultimate to deDRM on a pc, not a mac. Has Epubor solved this issue yet?
I use Epubor Ultimate to convert Kindle books into the ePub format. This worked quite well until recently. I own a KOBO e-reader and do not want to switch to Kindle. Still, I buy the corresponding books on Amazon. New books are in KFX format and can no longer be converted as they used to be. I reinstalled Kindle version 2.4.0 via Epubor, according to Epubor's instructions. Unfortunately, I can no longer download books from my Kindle library. This means transferring the books to Epubor is no longer possible. What am I doing wrong, or is there perhaps no viable solution?
I recently tryed to remove a DRM from a book an it says I need to update my Kindle for PC. When I did, it would no longer remove DRM from KFX files.
Any fixes for this?
I have a problem with the product not converting kfx files - as a result it's useless to me and as such I want the support team to refund my purchase costs - how long do I have to wait for a reply?

Tried to remove DRM from the latest Kindle ebook with epubor ultimate v3.0.16.531 but received a kfx error message. It advised me to use kindle for PC 2.8.0 but I have been using version 2.4.0 all along. Is there a fix for this?

But I have done that I have deregistered my Kindle for PC3 redownloaaded it and registered it again and I am still geting the same message.
