Does Epubor make non-kindle format e-texts? --

Amazon continues to change the rules and as of Feb 26, 2025, it will no longer be possible to download kindle titles to make non-kindle versions of texts. There are apparently new 'hardened' security features. I can confirm that the Epubor Ultimate I purchased today is NOT working to find or convert these files.

Is there any workaround using Epubor Ultimate to get kindle-free e-texts from our titles?

I can't remove DRM from books since Kindle got updated.
Epubor version : 3.0.16.105
Kindle version : 2.5.0
Do I have to go to an older version of Kindle ? If so, where can I find it?

as it shows we have updated kindle version to 2.8.2(70987) but epubor failed to remove DRM for KINDLE KFX error.  please which kindle version will remove kindle kfx

"Item Not Available for this Device Type" error on Kindle --
I have been unsuccessful in downloading some Kindle books. Instead, when this happens, an error message opens that says "Item Not Available for this Device Type" and prompts me to update my Kindle app. However, I have previously been unsuccessful in using Epubor with any Kindle version other than 2.4.0. As the title stablishs, can´t make the program to work with the newest version of Kindle for windows 11. Both the app and epubor are up to date, but always fail to decrypt.

I have installed and bought Epubor Ultimate and also the new Kindle Version.
But the drm-removal does not work - even as I read the guide.
How to proceed?
(I think it is necessary to update the guide for the new kindle-version).

How remove DRM - had to download the new Kindle --

I was FORCED to download the new Kindle version because otherwise my purchased books would no longer download to my local Kindle library (by downloading appeared the message: you have to download the new version or read in the webreader.

And of course, with the new version, the DRM can no longer be removed—even though I have legally purchased the book. Switching back to the old version does not solve the problem either, I got all "old" books in my library, but not the new one. By trying to download - i get the same message: You have to download the newest version....

Any ideas how to solve this DRM-Problem?
