I purchased an Audible audiobook but it's not showing anywhere. Not on my computer or my phone. I had got an email confirming I had purchased the book, but it just doesn't show in the library. Does someone have an idea for a solution to my predicament?
There are numerous instances where Audible has acted up causing many unsatisfied users to post their complaints on tech forums. However, there are many solutions to these problems. With this in mind, now let’s tackle one of Audible's most critical issues - your Audible books not showing up in library. Read ahead to find out why this keeps happening, and solutions that will hopefully rid you of this annoying issue.
1. Refresh Your Library
If you can’t find the audiobook you’ve bought in the Titles section of your Android/iOS/Windows 10 app, you can try to refresh the library at first.
Note: Depending on your library size, refreshing your library may take a few minutes.
Refresh your library on the Audible Android app
Step 1. From the My Library screen, tap on the left navigation menu at the top left of the screen (three bars).
Step 2. Tap "Help & Support".
Step 3. Tap on the three dots in the upper right corner.
Step 4. Tap "Full Library Refresh".
Refresh your library on the Audible iOS app
Step 1. Tap the Profile icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Step 2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
Step 3. Tap "Data & Storage".
Step 4. Tap "Refresh Library".
Step 5. Tap "Library" at the bottom left of the screen. Tap "All" then "All Titles".
Refresh your library on the Audible Windows 10 app
Step 1. Tap on the upper-left menu button.
Step 2. Scroll down and tap "Help".
Step 3. Tap "Full library refresh".
Then your title should appear in your Library.
2. Sorting & Filtering
The sort & filter options of the library allow you to change the way you view your titles in the app. Therefore, your audiobook may not be showing up because you have selected a specific filter, or are sorting your content in a certain way.
Step 1. From the library section of the app, tap "All" then "All Titles".
Step 2. Tap on the sorting options.
Step 3. Make sure "Recent" is selected which allows your newest content to appear at the top of your library.
After fixing the sort option, your title should appear at the top of the "All" section of your Library.
3. Sign Out & Sign In to the Correct Account
If the above 2 methods didn't fix the issue, you can try to sign out and then sign in. Sometimes it might take a few extra seconds for the audiobook to show in your library. If you sign out and then sign back in, it may speed the process up.
Also, if you have more than one account, you may have not noticed that the purchase had been made on a different account. In this case, you need to sign out of the Audible app on your device or out of the Audible desktop site and sign back into the correct account which received a purchased confirmation email.
After signing back in, the audiobook will be at the top of your library.
4. Change Your Marketplace
Similar to being signed in to the wrong account, you may be logged into the wrong Audible marketplace. For example, you've purchased the titles in Audible.com, but you sign into the account in Audible.ca. If that is the case, none of your titles will be available to listen to. In such a situation, you must sign out of the Audible site you are currently on, or sign out from the app if you are using an Audible Windows/Android/iOS, and then sign into the Audible marketplace where you make your purchases.

5. Complete Your Purchase Online
There are a few steps you need to take when making the purchase of audiobooks on Audible desktop site. In order to complete your purchase, you must finalize your purchases on the last page of the shopping cart by clicking Complete Purchase. Otherwise, you will not see the titles in your library.
For more information, you can read How to Buy Audible Books on the Audible Desktop Site.
6. Check Credit Card Information
If your audiobook is not showing up in your library, the transaction may not have processed normally due to an issue with your payment method. Here are two ways that can determine your card did not successfully process the purchase for the audiobook:
1. You didn't receive a confirmation email for the purchase from Audible.
2. The audiobook purchase shows up as "Order declined" in your Purchase History on the Account Details page of Audible site.
For the above 2 cases, you will need to edit your payment method and repurchase the item to bring it back to your library.
To edit payment information, visit the Payment section of the Account Details page.
7. Contact Audible Support
If you've tried all the above steps and still don’t see your audiobook, go directly to contact Audible support. They will help you to add it to your library.
