When I treied to download kindle ebooks on kindle for mac 1.40.1, I now get an error message that the app is no longer supported, and that I have to download the latest kindle for mac. What do I do now?

And if you have windows computer, please download your kindle books via kindle for windows and remove drm with epubor ultimate.
If you have kindle eink device, please use download kindle books via USB and then handle them with Epubor Ultimate.

Hi, same issue here, I just purchased a lifetime registration this morning but I only have a Mac computer so I'm not able to use the program. Do you have an estimate on when this might be fixed? Thanks!

I see now what you mean about the workaround using "download kindle books via USB" - for anyone else wondering, you don't actually need to have your Kindle on hand or have a USB cable to do this and it seems to work fine. This forum doesn't allow me to post the link to the help article explaining it but you can search this site for an article titled "How to Remove DRM From AZW3 Kindle (Latest Update 2024)".

Thank you for using our software. We are sincerely sorry for this issue. Yes,since October, kindle for mac 1.40 cannot download the kindle books anymore. Here are two solutions: 1. download kindle books via kindle for pc 2. download kindle books via "download and transfer via usb" .
Then you can remove kindle books's drm. We are working on the solution for this issue. Once there is any progress, we will let you know.

Same here. It is now almost december, I would hope to see either a working solution by Epubor or an admission that there is none. As things stand today: not planning to renew my license.
