When installing Android Studio, use the default settings. After installation, launch the program.
2. Create a Virtual Device on Android Studio.
2.1. Launch the Android Studio emulator, click on ‘More Actions‘ > ‘Create Virtual Manager’.
2.2. Click 'Create Device' to create a virtual Android device.
2.3. Select 'Phone' and then choose 'Pixel 6 Pro'. Click the 'Next' button to proceed.
2.4. Select a system image.
We recommend selecting 'Android 11.0 (Google APIs)' as the system image.
You need to click on the 'Download' arrow to start downloading the API.
After downloadling the correct Google APIs, click 'Next' and then 'Finish'.
2.5. Start the Virtual Device.
Click the triangle icon to start your newly created virtual device.
3. Download and Install the Hoopla APK in the Virtual Device.
After installing the Hoopla APK on the virtual device in Android Studio, you can download your Hoopla borrowed books.
Download the above Hoopla APK to your computer and save it on your desktop. Then, drag and drop the APK into the virtual device to start the installation process.
4. Start Downloading Hoopla eBooks/Comics.
Swipe up on the virtual phone screen to find the Hoopla app and tap it to launch.
Log in with your Hoopla account credentials, navigate to the 'My hoopla' page, click the book cover, and tap the download button to start downloading.
Once the download is complete, the download button will turn into a delete icon. You can click "Tap here to delete" to remove your downloaded Hoopla books. The delete icon also indicates that the file has been downloaded fully.
