epubor is not detecting my kobo or kindle I have tried three different kobo and one kindle on my Mac I even downloaded the trial and tried a kobo on my PC no luck with anything Epubor just does not recognize I have a reader plugged in. my computer does recognize each device in the file system so I know they are working its just Epubor.

Please note that if your kindle firmware or kobo firmware are the latest one, Epubor will not detect them. Please download kindle or kobo books by using the kindle desktop application or kobo desktop application.

Hi, i have just bought the software to transfer files i have bought on my kobo to my new kindle. The software dopes not detect the kindle or the kobo? The website clearly suggested i could do simple file transfers but i think i have been misled. If this is not the case could you refund me please. Thanks, James

I'm running Epubor Ultimate v3.0.16.469 and when I connect my 2017 kindle fire 8 7th gen, it is not showing that an ereader is connected.
It shows the same thing whether the device is connected or not.
"Connect kindle or Kobo eReader to computer, then we can deal with your eReader's books."
I have tried connecting while the app is open, and connecting before opening the app. It does not recognize that an ereader is connected.

Please help!

Epubor Ultimate doesn't support kindle fire. It supports the kindle eink device.
