I'm using Ultimate 3.0.16.404 and Kindle for PC 2.7.1 - The books download fine in the app, but when I drag the books into Ultimate, a box pops up saying, "The program is removing the D.R.M. encryption. Please wait for this to finish." But it never seems to finish.
Just to see if it would eventually finish the job. I allowed it run overnight and halfway through the next day and it was still stuck. I had to use the Windows Task Manager to close the program.

I just updated my epubor Ultimate, and also updated the Kindle for PC to 2.7 as suggested, but my books still are not decrypting. Do I have to deregister my Kindle for PC and reinstall it to get it to work? Does this mean I will lose all of the books on my pc, and then have to download them all again, as I have almost 3000?
Yes, please deregister it first and redownload your kindle books. Then run the latest version of Epubor Ultimate to remove drm. If you are still failed to remove drm, please screenshot the error message and send it to us via epubor.service@gmail.com
