Google Play Books is a digital distribution service providing over five million titles, including eBooks and audiobooks. Accessible via the Google Play website's dedicated Books section, it's also available through mobile apps for Android/iOS and select e-readers supporting Adobe Digital Editions. In this tutorial, we'll demonstrate how to read Google Play Books on Kindle, Kobo, and Nook devices.
1. How to Download Google Play Books to Computer
1Visit your Google Play Books Library.
Access your library by navigating to https://play.google.com/books using your computer's web browser. Ensure that you are logged in to view your owned books.
2Export Books from Google Play.
Google Play Books provides four export options: EPUB, PDF, ACSM for EPUB, or ACSM for PDF. On the book you want to export, click the three-dot icon in the lower right corner of the cover.
Note: ACSM files are protected and require Adobe Digital Editions for access and download. However, EPUB and PDF files are DRM-free, allowing direct viewing on supported ebook readers.
3Open ACSM with Adobe Digital Editions.
To initiate the download process for DRM-protected ACSM files: open Adobe Digital Editions (ADE), then use ADE to open the ACSM file. This will trigger the download process. And here's a detailed guide about how to convert ACSM to EPUB/PDF.
4Locate Downloaded Files.
Once the download is complete, find the EPUB and PDF files on your computer at: C:\Users\[User name]\Documents\My Digital Editions
Note: In order to transfer Google Play books to Kobo/Nook ereader, please make sure to create an Adobe ID with the same email you used to register Kobo/Nook.
2. How to Read Google Play Books on Kobo/Nook
You can read books from Google Play on most e-readers except Amazon Kindle devices. You’ll need to download them to your computer and transfer them to the e-reader. To do this, download the Adobe Digital Editions app.
Note: Your purchased e-book can only be associated with a single Adobe ID.
1. Authorize your computer and eReader with ADE.
After downloading the ACSM file, then create an Adobe ID with the same email you used to register Kobo/Nook to authorize computer. Or you can't transfer Google Play book to your ereader.
Plug in your Kobo/Nook ereader with USB. And your ereader will be displayed in the left side panel when you run ADE. First, click the device, then click the gear icon to select authorize device.
Then click Authorize Device and OK to complete the authorization.
2. Copy Google Play Books to Kobo/Nook ereader.
Click All Items to find the Google Play Book you want to transfer to Kobo/Nook device. Then right click the book cover >> Copy to Computer/Device >> Ereader to transfer the book to your Kobo/Nook devices. Eject your eReader from the computer, Google Play book will appear in your Library.
If you don’t want to create an Adobe ID with the email you used to register Kobo/Nook or you think this method is too troublesome, or if you want to decrypt Google Play book directly, then here’s another method to read Google Play Book on Kobo/Nook. Because Google Play Books are available in PDF and EPUB formats, so you just need to transfer the DRM free books to Kobo/Nook reader after decrypting Google Play Books.

Have a nice day!
I followed the steps to read the Google play books on kindle
But unfortunately when I open the book on kindle it says
"an error occurre. If you purchased this item from Amazon, delete the item and download it from the cloud"
What does that mean?
Any more problem, please feel free to contact us via support@epubor.com.
When I try to drag a book in from my desktop, it says "does not support eBook format". Isn't this the whole point of this software that I just spent $30 Canadian on? I briefly looked in the help info, but it is long, arcane and not really well, helpful. It would be nice if this was intuitive to use, but at least for me, it's not.
Also, I tried for the free trial, but when I open the software after downloading, it wouldn't let me do anything without paying for a licence.
All and all very frustrating. I am going to ask for a refund and to delete my account.
