I have downloaded the free version. Dragged book title fro audible.com library. In the saved to folder, I find two files: 1 aaxc file and one .json file. I do not find an .mp3 file.
Am I missing a step?

Hello, thanks for your message

If you successfully converted your Audible book to MP3 format, please open the output folder, and the mp3 file will be automatically saved.

If you convert it by "Split by Chapters", the mp3 files will be saved in the folder with your book name. Please try again to find the mp3 files.

Any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Best regards,
Epubor Team

I'm having the same problem with json/aaxc files. In my library I have file folders with mp3 files but the audible files I have tried to convert recently haven't worked - the folders in my library only have json and aaxc files but no mp3 files. Does this mean that the converter isn't working?
