From Jan 3rd this year only available to download in KFX format which will not be available for older versions of Kindle for PC.
Do you have any plans to enable Epubor ultimate to handle the new format.

Thank you for your message and we are sincerely sorry for this issue. It seems the amazon kindle has changed something in the new published kindle books. It requires the latest kindle app to download it.

Now we are working on this issue. Once there is a solution, we will let you know.

There is still another way to remove drm from this kind of kindle books if you have any kindle eink device registered with your amazon account. Please download the kindle books via "Download and transfer via usb" and then remove kindle drm with Epubor Ultimate. leider funktioniert es nicht, weder per download noch mit eintragen der kindle seriennummer, das programm erkennt den fire nicht als ebook reader, obwohl es einer ist. welche einstellung muß usb haben, reicht ein normales kabel per usb oder muß es ein datenkabel sein? habe bereits 3 bücher der neuen art die nicht funktionieren. wär erfreut über hilfe und genau infos + einer lösung demnäxhst. ich seh ja vorher nicht welches format das buch hat

I have happily used Epubor Ultimate for several years. Since KFX DRM was implemented the program seems to be non functional.
Epubor Ultimate 3.0.15.425
I downgraded mt PC Kindle app per instructions however it will not let me download books from my library without update, thus defeating Epubor again.
Am I wasting my time trying to make t work? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It seems amazon kindle has changed something in the newly published Kindle books, so it requires the latest kindle app to download it. For the ebooks published in 2023, here are 2 solutions to solve this problem:

1.If you have any Kindle device (kindle fire or kindle e-ink device) registered with your Amazon account.

Please download the Kindle books via "download and transfer via USB" and then remove kindle drm with epubor ultimate.
