I use Epubor Ultimate to convert Kindle books into the ePub format. This worked quite well until recently. I own a KOBO e-reader and do not want to switch to Kindle. Still, I buy the corresponding books on Amazon. New books are in KFX format and can no longer be converted as they used to be. I reinstalled Kindle version 2.4.0 via Epubor, according to Epubor's instructions. Unfortunately, I can no longer download books from my Kindle library. This means transferring the books to Epubor is no longer possible. What am I doing wrong, or is there perhaps no viable solution?
Thank you for contacting me about this issue. Yes, the newly released kindle books cannot be downloaded with the kindle for pc 2.4.0. We are now working on a solution for this. Once there is any progress, we will let you know. If you have a kindle eink device, please download your kindle books via it and then remove drm with Epubor Ultimate. If you have a kindle device, you can follow this guide to remove drm: https://www.epubor.com/how-to-remove-drm-from-kindle-kfx-ebooks.html#meth3
