KCR Converter worked fine initially and then the cloud / local menu at the top went away now you cannot download/pin an ebook

I downloaded and installed Microsoft edge for mac. I had the same results. when I log into my Amazon account, I am unable to download/pin books

Kindle cloud reader updated a few days ago. For downloading kindle cloud reader books, just click the book cover to open this book, and then you'll see the downloading progress at the bottom right corner. Just keep this book open until it is downloaded successfully.
Then download and install the latest version of kcr converter>>https://www.epubor.com/kcr-converter.html, and then start it to remove the kindle cloud reader books.

In my case it still doesn't work. In fact, Kindle cloud reader doesn't seem to download the book as it doesn't even show the download status of the book at the bottom of the page.

If there is no download progress at the bottom-right corner, there are many reasons:
1. kindle cloud reader doesn't allow you to download this book, or all books;
2. Your internet is not good;
To fix it, you can change from Google chrome to Microsoft edge. Or change the internet connection.
If both of them will not download your kindle books, then our software cannot convert them.

I have already solved my problems with Kindle Cloud Reader downloads. Apparently these problems are related to the KCR site in Spain, where I'm living. By using a VPN I was able to directly connect to the main site. Then everything worked as expected.
