Recently, I have updated my Kindle for PC to version 1.25, I can not remove my Kindle DRM any more. Is this some new Kindle kfx drm? How to handle this new Kindle kfx drm?

Hi Everyone, I've got a Kindle question I'm hoping someone can help with. I use the Kindle for PC app (Australia) to download books I buy so I can back them up. I have cleared the 'automatic update' box, but this morning it still updated without my permission. It will now not let me downgrade, and no matter which version of the app I download, when it is installed it is the current version 1.30. I'm using Windows 10.
I'm stuck, any suggestions?

From Jan 3rd this year only available to download in KFX format which will not be available for older versions of Kindle for PC.
Do you have any plans to enable Epubor ultimate to handle the new format.

Hi there, today I opened my Kindle for PC app and I was unable to decrypt a book. Something has changed with the software, so I tried downloading the 1.24 version as I have done before, but with no luck. Epubor cannot decrypt correctly, it basically creates a version of the ebook in HTMLZ, which lacks some essential features, such as the index. I tried installing the older version multiple times, both the 1.24 and the 1.17 but nothing changes.

I just wanted to try your converter for an ebook I uploaded from Amazon via Kindle for PC (Version 1.24 as you were suggesting).
It worked but only for 40 pages, despite the fact the book as many more pages (that I can access on Kindle in the Cloud)!
My question: Is it a normal limitation or is there a problem Or I did somethgn wrong?

As of two days ago, Amazon would no longer allow the download of new books via Kindle for PC 2.4.0. Is Epubor ever going to be able to break the new KFX DRM?

If not, it is now less than useless to me.

10th gen Kindle touch.  I just tried the 1st option from you tutorial on how to remove DRM Kindle  (LINK: https://epubor.com/3-ways-to-remove-drm-from-kindle-books.html).  I have been using Calibre for some time. Ver 3.43.0.0.  It did "not" work. Then I saw this at the bottom of page:  Update: (Due to a change in DRM) Calibre DeDRM plugins will no longer work with Kindle for PC/Mac version 1.25 or newer or with Kindle firmware 5.10.2 or newer.
Then this:
You will find that after downloading kindle books to computer via Kindle for PC 1.25, it's likely that we can't remove DRM from those books.

Does this mean that none of the three tutorials will work?

I just purchased Ultimate. I quickly understood that I had to install the older Kindle for PC. I did this first for one of my PCs by following your directions. The software installed however, when you open the Kindle application, it begins to flash and does not allow you to register. I tried it on another PC, the same flickering at the line where you enter your Amazon Email. The keyboard presses does not enter a character. Can you let m know how to go around this problem. I'm using Kindle for PC (Windows 10) and Epubor 3.0.13.1216)(Paid for version).
Whenever I try to convert an ebook from Amazon, it comes up with the error "Conversion Failed: KFX DRM not converted"
How do I fix this??? Is there a plugin for this problem??

I can't convert different books from Amazone because the ad KWX appears. Is there a version of Epubor ultimate that cracks KWX encryption?
I have Epubor Ultimate 3.0.10 330 installed on my machine.
I have an old version of the Kindle for PC installed on my computer. However, for the books with KWX encryption, I get the message that I should update to a new version. I haven't had any trouble converting in the past, only recently. I can't fall back on a download via USB either, since the
Books cannot be purchased but borrowed through Kindle Unlimited.
