I have Windows 10. I bought Epubor Ultimate. It told me I had to install an earlier version of the Kindle App. With Epubor's assitance, it downloaded and installed Kindle version 1.24.51068. The app works fine UNTIL I go to register it with Amazon. It just loops the login screen over and over nonstop. The reload is so fast I can't even type a single letter.
Suggestions? This software is useless to me unless I can get to my Kindle books I've purchased.
I downgrade my kindle version from your link but i am unable to register it. I get the windows thinking icon, blu arrow circling next to cursor and then kindle stops working
It's been over a year since I last used ePubor Ultimate, but now I'm having trouble locating where my Kindle downloads, including KU, are located on my Mac.
I've looked here:
/Users/<username>Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content
/Users/<username>/Library/Containers/Kindle/Data/Documents
This was recommended on the Apple Community forum but there was no such destination

Searching with DDG doesn't reveal anything new.
Searching using Find Any File doesn't come up with current content.
Any information that leads to my current Amazon downloads would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way to remove the latest Amazon DRM? There are kindle version 1.25 and 1.26 on the market with NEW kindle kfx DRM. Any solution?
Some of the latest Kindle books will not even load with Kindle Version 1.24. They throw an error and say to download the latest version.
Any workarounds?

I purchased epubor ultimate to get a pdf copy of my kindle purchased ebooks.
I kept as much as possible the older version of kindle for mac (44173) but, having to a new macbook with ventura IOS, it is no longer possible to use that version.
The new one doesn't not allow to retrieve the single ebooks to be dragged and dropped into epubor but I only get a unique file (book_asset.db) and I don't know how to proceed.
Is there any new procedure available to overcome this change/protection?

I have a brand new MacBook Air M1 and I do habe Epubor ultimate but I can't convert a kindle ebook to pdf because I also can't get the old kindle version 1.23 anymore cause the new Mac OS Big Sure does not support this old version, so now I can just and only download the newest kindle version 1.30.....
How do I fix this problem? Epubor said it would be able to convert a dam lock to a pdf.....

Hello, I have the Epubor Ultimate v3.0.12.412 and I am getting the warning message for the Kindle version is 1.28.0.57030 and it says to downgrade. I followed instructions to de-register, and then download the required file, install, register, turn off automatic update in Kindle before closing. Now, when I close Kindle, and open it, Kindle upgrades itself, even with the "automatic" upgrade is turned off. What's going on? Thanks
Amazon Kindle now requires download Kindle version 2.7.70978 in order to download and view their books and will not work will latest version Epubor Ultimate v3.0.16.367. Down grading Kindle Version to 2.4.0 will not rectify this problem. I understands this problem routinely occurs when Kindle updates become required and then you have to respond with a fix (version) to correct this. As such, when do expect to have this fix in place? Thank you
Is there a way to improve epub formatting when converting from kindle azw/kfx? I was able to achieve conversion on windows using the older Kindle version, but the formatting in the resulting epub file is, while quite readable, not as nicely formatted as the original in my windows kindle software. I didn't find formatting in the user guide, if I just missed it please let me know. thanks!

I can't find my kindle content on the MacBook Pro or convert it with ePub. The software won't allow use of the old version, and nothing is coming up with the new kindle version. Could you please give me a step by step of how to use epub to remove drm and send to calibre?

After downloading and installing an older Kindle version I tried to use the epubor ultimate.
I converted the file to epub. it contains only the Information that there is only 20% converted but not even 1% of the text.

I have only recently purchased you product.
I have converted books from Kindle to EPUB (last date appears to have been May 2, 2022. I got some new books today which have had the DRM removed perfectly but they have saved as AZW or AZW3 rather than EPUB which is what I have set as my default.
My preferred book reader on iOS is Marvin and it requires EPUB, which is why I bought your software in the first place.
My PC Kindle version is 1.32 and Epubor Ultimate is the current version.
Today, May 18 2024, I tried to open a freshly purchased kindle book with the older Kindle version running in LD Player. This is - as far as I know - the only way to convert Kindle books into Epub format: Load in older Kindle version in LD Player, then convert it with Epubor Kindle Converter.
Unfortunately I got an error message from within the Kindle saying that the book doesn't support this older Kindle version.
So is this the next step in the war? Are we stuck again without any way of conversion?
Kindle app is forcing update to older Kindle version to view books in the Kindle app before even trying to remove DRM in Epubor Ultimate
I use Epubor Ultimate to convert Kindle books into the ePub format. This worked quite well until recently. I own a KOBO e-reader and do not want to switch to Kindle. Still, I buy the corresponding books on Amazon. New books are in KFX format and can no longer be converted as they used to be. I reinstalled Kindle version 2.4.0 via Epubor, according to Epubor's instructions. Unfortunately, I can no longer download books from my Kindle library. This means transferring the books to Epubor is no longer possible. What am I doing wrong, or is there perhaps no viable solution?
