Why Kindle Unlimited is better than Scribd?
1 Kindle Unlimited allows you to read kindle unlimited books on kindle eReader while Scribd isn't available on any eReader. You can only read Scribd books on Scribd app on tablets or mobile devices. Compared with tablets, eReader is much more eye-friendly.
2 Kindle unlimited library is much larger than Scribd's library.
3 Unsubscribe from kindle unlimited is much easier than from Scribd. Many users reported that they have issue on unsubscribing fom Scribd.
4 High demand books are often restricted once the throttle caps is reached. Actually, Scribd limits the titles that users are able to access within a specific content library in a 30-day period. So sometimes, Scribd unlimited access is not the real unlimited service.
Why Scribd is better than Kindle Unlimited?
1 Although Scribd has less titles in its library, it works with the big 5 publishers so that ebooks have been edited by a professional editor. And you can find many best sellers from here. In the contrast, the major of kindle unlimited books have been published by independent authors. So you are not sure the quality of the books. You need to dig really deep to find a good one. I have to admit that there are also some extremely popular mainstream published books available on Kindle Unlimited.
2 Scribd offers both audiobooks and ebooks in one place, but Amazon has two different service kindle unlimited for ebooks mainly and audible membership for audiobooks.
3 You can only borrow 10 books at a time on Kindle unlimited. If you want to checkout more books, you will be required to return some books.
Scribd VS Kindle Unlimited: which one should you choose?
1 If you have kindle eReader and want to read ebooks on it, get kindle unlimited since Scribd is not available on e-Readers.
2 If you read many books each month, then choose Kindle unlimited as the Scribd is not real unlimited access. Otherwise, you can choose Scribd as you can get some new best sellers on Scribd library.
3 If you want to unsubscribe things much easier, choose kindle unlimited, as the unsubscribing from Scribd seems to be a major issue.
Now it's your turn to make the final decision. If you don't know which one to pick, just list 20 to 30 books, check them on Scribd and also on Amazon to see if they are included in Kindle Unlimited. If they are included in Kindle Unlimited go for it. Otherwise get Scribd.

Kindle Unlimited has a lot of best sellers and many of them have free audiobooks of the book you choose. I have never paid as much as $9.99 a month. I get it at half price or when you get an Amazon device sometimes you get 3 months free even if you already have a subscription.
If you only want audiobooks Chirp has no monthly payment and audiobooks are as low as .99 cents. You can listen
through their app.
Audible works well. You can listen to unlimited audiobooks if you get their new Audible Plus for @7.95 a month. Bestsellers are there, but for more of them you need to get credits. If you have the monthly membership with them you get the Plus books free. I have free audiobooks through Kindle Unlimited from Baldacci, Cornwell, Roberts, Steel, Koontz and many more. I use a Kindle Fire and you can use an app from Amazon to send ebooks from anywhere with Send to Kindle or email.
I have had KU and audible for years and now for $9.99 I have both rolled into one! I am so happy!!
