Today I have bought a kindle book on Amazon, and when I tried to save it like usual to try do remove the DRM, I got this alert and the book wasn’t saved into my disk in the usual location. I used Kindle for Mac version 1.40, when I downloaded the book I see the box:
This app is no longer supported. To view this content, a new and improved Kindle for Mac is now available to download from the Mac App Store...
Shoud I set up new kindle for mac? Does Epubor work on the new app?
I have the same problem as Sannomi. It tells me to update kindle and then I get the same message: "This app is no longer supported. To view this content, a new and improved Kindle for Mac is now available to download from the Mac App Store...." I have a lifetime licence. What is the solution?
We are sincerely sorry for this issue. Yes,since October, kindle for mac 1.40 cannot download the kindle books anymore. Here are two solutions: 1. download kindle books via kindle for pc 2. download kindle books via "download and transfer via usb" . Then you can remove kindle books's drm. We are working on the solution for this issue. Once there is any progress, we will let you know.
