I have repeatedly tried to get epubor to remove the arm from a kindle book but cannot get it to work. I have followed the instructions and reverted to 1.31 but still no luck.

If your purchased books are not that kind of books, you still can download via "Download and transfer via usb".

We arware of this issue. It seems the amazon kindle has changed something in the new published kindle books. It requires the latest kindle app to download it. For the books published before 2023, it still can be downloaded with old kindle app and can be decrypted with Epubor Ultimate.
Now we are working on this issue. Once there is a solution, we will let you know. The older kindle books still can be cracked with Epubor Software.
For the ebooks published in 202, here is still another way to remove drm from this kind of kindle books if you have any kindle eink device registered with your amazon account. Please download the kindle books via "Download and transfer via usb" and then remove kindle drm with Epubor Ultimate. The suggested solution helped for 2 of 3 books.
The third one appears to have DRM. I tried plugging in my Kindle and there is no difference in operation. I looked up the serial number and attempted to enter it. The screen has a "click to see how to find your serial number" (paraphrased) but no way to enter the S/N.
Is there a fix for that?

J'ai acheté hier votre logiciel pour mac.
je n'avais pas vu la notice concernant le fait que Kindle 1.4 ne fonctionnait plus.
De plus, je n'ai pas de liseuse pour récupérer le n° de serie Kindle.
Je considère que je me suis fait volé de plus de 70€ à moins que vous ayez une solution à me proposer.
Je suis donc très en colère.

NONE of this works anymore, as 1.40 is NO LONGER SUPPORTED on a mac...
Also you cannot DOWNLOAD BOOKS that are from Kindle Unlimited (free with that kind of subscription)
So it seems EPubor Ultimate cannot be made to work on a Mac anymore... Correct?
I have the most recent version of epubor-ultimate, as of Dec 13, 2024.
I then tried the 1.40 version, but that app just throws up an unsupported banner, without downloading the file.
Unfortunately, I bought the license, thinking that it was required to work properly. Only after not having anything work at all, I found this page.
So, it seems there is no way to do this on a mac, unless you buy a kindle too.
However, I'm trying to get away from amazon's bullying tactics, which is why I want to convert my library of hundreds of purchased ebooks to something else.
Is there a solution coming, or is that wishful thinking, and maybe I should just ask for a refund?
