i have been having the same issue when i try to upgrade my purchased version. The old version still works but at some point, that will stop. no idea how to get around this issue.

I downloaded Epubor from the email link provided after purchasing, unziped, and attempted to install, and received "Apple could not verify “Ultimate.pkg” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy" and only gave me two options: "Done" or "Move to Trash."

When I click on "Done," nothing happens. Epubor is not installed, the only thing that is different is that the pkg file doesn't get deleted.

I can't install either, just like others in this thread. I can go to settings and click "open anyway", but I get several more warnings about how the package might be malicious. I'm not going to bypass so many security warnings. Either fix it so it doesn't get those warnings, or explain why it has to work that way. I'm not willing to risk the integrity of the system when I don't know exactly why I need to.

Please help or refund.
